Description
A homeless child on the street,A blanket around her,
As thin as a sheet.
People ignore her and stare,
As they see her sitting there,
Not caring how she feels,
Only of her looks and clothes.
A homeless child on the street,
A blanket around her,
As thin as a sheet.
A story about a girl,
Is the story that I tell,
A sad story it is I have to say,
It ends in death for her today.
A homeless child on the street,
A blanket around her,
As thin as a sheet.
Who would stay at her home,
When she couldn't even escape on the phone,
Her mum you see didn't care,
Stripped her of her dignity bare.
A homeless child on the street,
A blanket around her,
As thin as a sheet.
Her mother would scream at her,
"You are worthless clean the floor,
Why should I care you little whore,
Get out your not welcome anymore!"
A homeless child on the street,
A blanket around her,
As thin as a sheet.
Out she walked she was only nine,
She thought she would be fine,
She sat outside of a shop,
Where she was kicked out to a bus stop.
A homeless child on the street,
A blanket around her,
As thin as a sheet.
She moved to a space in the street,
There she watched people's feet,
They didn't care,
They just stared.
A homeless child on the street,
A blanket around her,
As thin as a sheet.
There she slept for a few nights,
Watching drunks having fights,
Then one night she fell asleep,
But didn't wake it so deep.
A homeless child on the street,
A blanket around her,
As thin as a sheet.
She was found the day after she died,
"She must have dreamed of egss being fried,"
A Man said,
After she was found dead.
A homeless child on the street,
A blanket around her,
As thin as a sheet.
She thought she would be fine,
Remember she was only nine,
Now she has no need for time,
She was only nine.
A homeless child on the street,
A blanket around her,
She was as dead and as thin as a sheet.
