Empty.It's all I'll ever be.
A smooth swirl of bitter emotion
Slowly fading into blissful nothingness.
She,
Was a white rose
Standing perfectly in the light of the dawn
Whispering with the faintest wind.
She loves me
Laughter.
The sound ringing from the mountaintops
Filling my ears with a joyous chorus
Bringing tears to my eyes when I see her smile.
She loves me not.
Fear.
The small thorn that drives it's way
Deep into the heart, where it rests, uneasily
Looking deep into the foggy crystal to see what the future holds.
She loves me.
Serenity.
The smell of her hair
Waking up and being perfectly content to lie there
Feeling at peace with the world and the one wrapped up in my arms.
She loves me not.
Silence.
The sound that my breaking heart makes
As dawn fades to dusk, casting shadow on the world
Sending the bleeding remains of my own self loathing
Spiraling into the blissful nothingness
I call home...
