Alt Title: Octopi that think they're Jellyfish. What? I can see Delirium confusing the two.
I wish whoever conceived you would be maimed painfully and hideously. Realizing that that has a pretty slim chance of occurring within the near future, I just sear your eyes with a horrible mix of my attempt at being extremely colorful and lineless with some foreshortening in there.
But no, really. Often times I feel really shitty about the crap I make. I feel it’s boring and repetitive, but whenever I attempt another technique, I get extremely overwhelmed because I’m so unfamiliar with it and it very often gets scrapped as a result(like a quitter). So I have a shitload of unfinished art stored away that I would’ve loved to finish, but didn’t feel I had the skills to complete(And/or was deathly afraid of someone else pointing out how I was incompetent) and probably never will because... well, they're old. And also there's the few that are just bits that I just lost interest in, but we aren’t here to talk about those.
Anyway, it often prevents me from trying new things, which I feel is as good as shooting myself in the foot as an artist (or maybe hand would be a more appropriate metaphor?)
Despite giving my best efforts, angled shots and shading are not my forte at this time, but a little while ago I realized that if I only try and make art when I feel I’m absolutely perfect at one thing or another, I’ll never make or finish anything. Even if it doesn’t come out flawlessly, I still try to have fun while practicing. Oddly enough, even when there’s a horrible, blatant mistake of one sort or another, some people will still find enough charm in the thing to enjoy it.
Stuff I've been thinking about.
[This is also me justifying not being as detail-obsessed as before and being more liberal in submitting sketchier things.]
TL;DR: I can kick batman's ass because Utility-Belts don't real.
But no really, your mother is a repugnant whore who should be dissected and studied for the sake of preventing more atrocities like yourself from happening in the future.

Don't hate yourself for a job well done darling. With all the encouragement I have I wanna say this piece is unique, colorful and creates a lot of thought for the viewer. <3 I love it.. and its one of your better pieces BECAUSE you are branching out. I enjoy her bubble wand the most.. and those octopi are <33333. I cant do colors line-less like this, not very well... but all of us are here for feedback and to improve. -no- artist is incompetent. We are all always learning.. and this shows clear signs of improvement. <3

I appreciate that, dude c: Rationally I know trying something new is always the way to go for improvement, and I know that I wont get it completely right the first time, but there's always that little obsessive bit that makes progress hard because it isn't. good. unless. it's. PERFECT. AND IF IT'S NOT PERFECT IT'S TERRIBLE WHY WOULD I BOTHER PEOPLE WITH SOMETHING SO TERRIBLE ALDKFADSKSADKA
Usually this is followed by corner-rocking and dry-heaving with some Madness Mantra of one sort or another.
ANYHOO Thanks for your support and encouragement xD As always, it means a lot. If you ever get the chance to, though, I'd like to see you give it a shot if you're interested.
Also, Many apologies. I don't mean to turn every response into a long speech xDD

lineless colorful fore-shortening surreal? sounds like a challenge I would fail miserably at XD

xDD I meant mostly linelessness, but if you wanted to do any one of those other things, that'd be pretty sweet.

I love the colors and I love how it looks. It's quite a nice change from your usual style of work (this doesn't mean your usual style isn't good ether!). I quite like this piece.

Bro they're making me do realism.
Realism.
And it sucks, I hate everything I make and it all feels wrong. But you keep fucking drawing because you already wasted about five peices of charcoal, $40 and three hours of time on it. Or something.
Eitherway finish what you start, even if you don't like it (That doesn't count with doodling) because even if it's not that good you can see what you did wrong and try again.
There are no wasted pictures.
By the way, this looks really fascinating, only things I would've changed would be to dim the purple color a bit, or add more to it, as it feels a bit out of place. There should also be more grass under her. Otherwise this is very much a delirium picture, and a damn good one.
