Phoenix? I like how this is much of a symbol too- all of us can relate and reflect on it. The 'life' adds a hopeful tone to this as well.

Ooh. I really like this idea, although I'm not sure I would have associated it with green – more orange or red. But then, if you picture a sprout or a plant growing out of devastation, it makes sense. The first image I get when I read this is of a phoenix. Maybe that's just me
As for the story, I imagine something that's happening after a terrible disaster, or a war... It seems a little... unspecific, though. More like a saying or a statement than an actual story. Like, this could happen rather than this has happened. I mean, maybe if it said something specific rose from the ashes it would work better. It's pretty hard to play around with that in the constraints of the SWS format, though
Nice piece, anyway! I found this week's really hard too

Thank you for your awesome feedback
Yes, a sprout coming out from the ashes is what I was going for. I like your interpretation of a phoenix, though!
Yeah, I thought the story was weak as well. I'm always looking back at it & trying to reword it in my head Once I come up with a better version, I do plan on updating it. I've never written six word stories before this & I admit it's pretty hard!
These prompts are pretty tricky! I like this week's prompt, though

You're very welcome I know what you mean about SWS – and doing them to a challenge is particularly hard! I also like this week's, though I haven't thought of a word yet XD
