I think they'll go in this order for what I'm gonna call the "Hasbro Era".

1) Beast Morphers
2) ToQGer adaptation
3) Zyuohger adaptaion
4) Kyuranger adaptation
5) Lupin VS Pat adaptation

For 2021 TQOGer will be adapted to the US as "Saban's Power Rangers Lightspeed Express" because of the Rail Rescues of Lightspeed Rescue.

Then in 2022 Zyuohger will be adapted to the US as "Saban's Power Rangers Game Knights" because of Nintendo's game Tetris.

Then in 2023 for the 30th anniversary of PR Kyuranger will be adapted to the US as "Saban's Power Rangers Zodiac Galaxy" it's kinda the sequel to "Saban's Power Rangers Lost Galaxy".

Then in 2024 Lupinranger Vs Patoranger would be adapted to the US as "Saban's Power Rangers Time Patrol" a sequel to Time Force, S.P.D., and RPM.

Then in 2025 Ryusoulger will be adapted to the US as "Saban's Power Rangers Dino Warriors" which will unite Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Dinozords Saga, Power Rangers DinoThunder, and Power Rangers Dino Charge/Power Rangers Dino Supercharge, with the return of Koragg of Mystic Force.

Since Saban doesn't own the franchise anymore, we have to change the titles now.

Actually Ian Hasbro will keep Haim Saban's name for future PR series, plus it was Haim that brought Super Sentai to the US for almost 3 decades!

Nope! Hasbro respects Haim Saban and i think he really wants to keep his last name to remind PR fans that this is still his series.

Haim knows the loss of PR stars, including the passing of Robert Axerlod.
But he also knows that the Power Rangers series must go on.

KobaltSteel In reply to IanTheHedgefox [2018-04-21 01:46:43 +0000 UTC]

It's possible this may be the line up and it is preferable to not see seasons skipped again... and we may not see a skipped season.

I feel that Power Rangers will be split into two concurrent shows, with the regular series AND a younger-aged series on maybe Discovery Family to be a part of the Playskool brand, similar to Transformers' two shows (RiD and Rescue Bots). I say this because this plan you described will ultimately put Saban behind Super Sentai by five years AT LEAST, rendering any props useless and requiring heavy stock footage, all of which needs to be compressed into 20/26 episodes, which I doubt Saban wants. On top of this, ToQger was skipped for being too childish for the main series (+ Trains being weird)... and other seasons have been very goofy and child friendly.Β

Under this two-show plan, Saban can take in the more marketable shows for main Rangers, like Zyuohger and Kyuranger, and leave the others for the other studio (Hasbro studios?) to be a part of that playskool series, being ToQger and Lupin vs. Pat, therefore allowing the franchise to catch up, without skipping a season, AND have props to use... maybe not for ToQger because it's too late. I'm not necessarily saying the other shows will be split in this fashion, but two shows would go to Saban and the other two to the other studio.Β

This two show situation could also be used as a test to see if Power Rangers can survive on the other network (or maybe pick up the network's viewership), therefore allowing the possibility of a network jump onto Discovery Family (or whatever network) after 2021; I'm only saying Discovery Family because it's 40% owned by Hasbro and it is in need of a new flagship program after My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, which is loosing viewership AND is (very likely) going to be cancelled next year, with the Hasbro deal on DF ending in 2021.

I don't know about Super Seasons, though... I would like to think that they will be discontinued (primarily to just catch up with the Sentai), especially if the whole franchise moves to Discovery Family or another network after 2021, but... who knows?

I could be wrong; maybe the franchise won't see this division and maybe Saban is fine with being 5 years behind or more and will adapt all of them, but this is just my hypothesis. Yes, it may seem derogatory because I'm rendering two seasons as... super kiddy shows when they are more serious than that. But if we were to revive the no-skip situation, something has to be done to get closer to the Sentai, lest we remain with stock footage heavy shows five years behind the sentai.

What do you think will happen, if you disagree?

Theautisticonenamedm In reply to KobaltSteel [2018-06-15 17:30:01 +0000 UTC]

I kinda think ToQger could work as supporting characters to the BMs. Beast Morphers later upgrade to the Zyuohger suits. ToQger could then be spun off into at least a mini-series ala Alien Rangers, for younger audiences.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KobaltSteel In reply to Theautisticonenamedm [2018-06-15 20:44:57 +0000 UTC]

That would only work if the original suits are destroyed and replaced permanently. The Zyuohger suits will be a problem as a super mode b/c there is already a super mode and the Zyuohger colors will be different for all except for red and maybe gold ranger, as the genders and some colors are different (as well as animals, but that may not matter).

It worked before because the colors matched the rangers, minus going from Black to Green and vice-versa. This time, I don't see that working unless the Go-Busters suits are gone, as it may confuse audiences and a bit on consumers.

ToQger as side characters could work though, but I think that could work as a series on it's own.

MrWonderWorks In reply to IanTheHedgefox [2019-11-10 19:27:47 +0000 UTC]

Nick will have the chance to resign PR for future seasons and specials.
And besides since MLP has finished their run at Discovery Family Allspark could do a US adaptation of Kamen Rider Zero-One as a connection between M.A.S.K., V.O.R.-T.E.C.H., and A.T.O.M., as Hasbro's Masked Rider.

AdrenalineRush1996 [2018-02-19 13:39:01 +0000 UTC]

I think it's because Bandai of America were the ones who skipped seasons and wanted more PR seasons with collectible gimmicks after the success of the Super Megaforce and Dino Charge toylines and as a result, Saban Brands decided to end their partnership with them by bringing in Hasbro as the new manufacturer plus it's now possible to adapt ToQger and Zyuohger in addition to the recently finished Kyuranger and the currently airing Lupinranger VS Patoranger, given the confirmation of Beast Machines being an adaptation of Go-Busters.
