Well this is my first attempt at doing some large scale photomanipulation, I had the initial idea back at Easter and its taken the series finale of Doctor Who to motivate me enough to get off my Arse and get it done.

The stars were made by darkening a piece of our fire that was in the background of a messed up practice at macro photography (poorly lit room for the lose).

The Nebula/Dust Cloud/Wibbly Wobbly Space Thing is a section of cloud taken from a landscape shot I took in Wales, converted to B&W, a colour filter was then applied until it looked like a naturally occuring thing then the light and darkness was tweeked to the best levels.

The Police Box used for the TARDIS was taken on the seafront at Scarborough on a dull and wet day so its colour was alittle too dull for my likeing. (I know its not the exact design used in the series but it the nearest I had and it could be written off as an altenate universe version).

Finally the blue light, there was only one thing available that had a round blue light, the PS2, so I took an extreme close up and then resized until it was a suitable size for the picture.

Not bad. I like the clouds and box. The only thing I'd suggest is perhaps finding a more clear space background, so the stars aren't maximized so much they blur and look too pixilated. Other than that, it's pretty cool.

Thanks for the advice, Ive just smothed the stars out alot so they don't lok like giant pixels. (I can't believe I missed something so obvious.)

Well, they do look nicer now. More smooth and blended with their surroundings.
