I got stumped on my math homework, so I showed that fucker by doodling all over his face.Yeah, alright, this is probably terribly simple stuff to all of you math inclined people. It's just long division of polynomials. But fuck, I HATE this shit. >_>

oh your having "fun" with polynomials? the most practical thing I can think of with Polynomials is if a pitcher throws a ball how far does it go problems

Yeah, I guess that would be a practical application, but it's still unnecessary for most people. If you're a scientist or an investigator who for some reason has to know exactly how far a ball was thrown, huge technical math would be great.
The average person is just going to throw out a rough estimate though, myself included. xD

well do you have like an answer checker just in case I'm wrong? I got 20000x^n - 20000 divided by (x-1) is equal to 20000(x^n-1)

Hmm, no, that wasn't the answer. The answer to part A was weirdly just to set up a new problem altogether, which I guess is going to be solved in parts b and c.
The answer was 20,000x^3 - 20,000/ x-1.
I have no idea why. <_<

Reminds me of this other story about an argumentation class where the teacher put a chair at the front of the room and told his students to make an argument proving that the chair didn't exist. Everyone else starts writing these big essays, and one kid just turns in his paper with two words on it.
