I was drawn to this picture b/c of the logo. i thought it was a professional pic w/ a fan made logo, cuz the logo didn't look exactly like the real one. and then you said the pic was FAN MADE???! Holy crap you are amazing!

Holy damn! The quality is so goood! How did you do that in 3 hours? that would have taken me over a week and still not look as good. You have to tell me how you did all the scales/skin texture. Seriously, PM me or just reply if it's small enough, lol. amazing job.

2 or 3 brushes with scales (simple circles, connected to each other like scales). I've made those brushes by myself. Brushes had nothing special, they were made just for the time saving, because i could draw 6-10 scales with one click...
I've drawn all scales with the help of those brushes on a layer and then have changed it opacity. Under the layer with scales there was another layer with main color, shadows and light.

Dang, that's awesome. I'm still an amateur artist, and it's neat little tricks like that that I wish I knew how to do. I think I need to watch someone make a really detailed picture in photoshop to quickly learn these kind of things.
