Say what you want about Tron, but despite the mediocre movie and its mediocre tie-in video game, there's nothing out there that has quite the aesthetic Tron does.

I felt like drawing something that went a little beyond my usual scope. Something beyond a wash background. I guess I felt like I needed a new magnum opus, and what better way than to combine my favorite character with one of my favorite settings? And I guess too that I wanted to prove I'm capable of more. I wanted to show my level of skill, to break the type cast that I feel I've been given.
