Earthquake; Thunder; Dragonbreath...Looks like this has been going on for a while XD
I was a bit bored of working on current projects so I decided to bug friends for prompts. This started out as simply 'Raichu' but the pose I put it in demanded a scene and so Salamence came along :]
1.8 days approx start to finish.
Have you ever really noticed how Salamence's wings are so fail? I love the fact that it's a bellydragger and a dragon and always seems so damn nasty, but ye Gods, those wings make me cringe XD Youshouldn'tbeabletoflywiththosewingsSalamence.
I had to think for a bit how to real-ify his wings while still keeping them close to the design XD Technically, he still can't fly with those wings hahahah.
I realised during this that I can't seem to do curved perspective. Oh well; I suppose I'll just have to keep practicing. I'm quite pleased with how this came out overall, though

The Salamance looks as if it just swatted the Raichu away, and the Raichu looks like it took a pretty hard fall. Ouch.
The two pokemon resemble real animals, while keeping thier pokemon-like looks, and the background is amazing.
This is going into the favorites.

Wait... wait just a second... in that Pokewalker device there is a special area where pikachu... of all things... knows how to... FLY... (don't ask) transfer it to the games... evolve it... voila... flying raichu. Poor "little" Salamence really won't know what the heck hit it... literally. Anyway, enough philosophical blabbering, wonderful battle scene. Wonder who's going to win?

If there was one huge major flaw in pokemon, It would be Salamance's wings. You done very well turnnig them from 7 second red triangles into something good. <3 Win.

According to Salemance's pokedex, it basically willed itself to have wings. Which doesn't make much sense to me xD I guess it flies on will alone, too.
