So I decided to give you all a basic idea of my writing, and I've had a fancestor story I've wanted to write for a while. I just threw together some characters, and wrote a story to give you all a basic idea of my writing style. I just have some information on the characters.
-Title- -Name- -Extra Info-
{The} Assassin Viperess Glycona Hisess In ancient Greek culture, Glycon was a giant demon cobra whom often manipulated or played tricks on mortals, as he was disguised as a notably attractive warrior. Hisess is notably similar to the sound you'd find a snake making, or in this specific case a 'viper'.
The Silenced Streth Loayin Loayin is simply a shortening of the Chinese term for 'eagle'. Eagles are often referred to as solitary or anti-social birds, so according to said traits, I influenced Streth's personality upon that of an eagle's.
The Merchant Dricta Ulosis N/A
{The/His} Mourning Conquerer Krucon Sennic N/A
The Mechanic Akakio Tyrmar Akakio is a shortening of the ancient Greek word/letter Akakios, or 'hardworking but innocent', and was the name of three ancient priests whom were all martyrs. His last name is just the word 'martyr', scrambled up a bit.
The/His Greatest Overlord Alaric Bricis Alaric is the ancient Scandinavian name for 'ruler' or 'power', Bricis is the shortening Bricius, which means 'brave' or 'noble'.
The/His Imperious Magician Dracon Tannek Dracon is a lengthening of 'Draco' or the ancient English term for 'dragon'. In most tales, dragons are associated with magic. Tannek is a lengthening to Tanek, or an ancient Polish word for 'magic' and 'immortal'
The Upholder Liloth Harmon Liloth is a slightly tweaked equivalent to Lilith, or a woman turned demon when she was willing to fight over dominance with Adam, supposedly before Eve. Harmon, is a shortening of Harmonia, or the Greek deity whom kept peace and held everyone and their ranks in check.
The Lawmaker Aldenn Tallib Aldenn is a lengthened version of Alden, Alden is an English name that means 'wise protector'. Tallib is a lengthened version of Talib, which means 'seeker of truth'.
The Explorer Verena Poloma Verena is simply an ancient word for defender, or a warrioress. Poloma is a Choctaw Indian word for 'arrow' or 'bow and arrow'.
The Animated Oredra Aleros Oredra is a slightly scrambled version of Orenda which is Iroquois for 'magic' or 'magic power'. Aleros is a traditional, female, ancient Greek name.

Long ago, there was an ancient planet, it's name was Rilikon, and it was in a state of full blown panic. The emperor was dead, and no one knew whom to crown next to win the throne. However, this was strange, the seadwelling emperor's blood was that of supreme royalty, that of coral, and the emperor himself was still incredibly young, only the age of 1293, but the average age of demise was around 9000. It was said that his death was a mystery, but those in the emperor's palace knew this was no mystery. The emperor had been murdered. No evidence was found by anyone, and the only clue left behind was a ring.
Silver, and beautifully engraved was the shortening of someone by the initials of G.H. Of course, a name gave nothing as to whom this murderer was, and only increased the tension. Considering the male was the only of his kind, the second lowest seadwelling caste was deciding upon a new leader. After a stressful few weeks, the Emperor's closest alliance, his moirail was decided. He was an amethyst blooded seadwelling male by the name of Krucon, and instead of changing his title to an official one, he changed it to honor his friend, and ruled much differently than the previous emperor.
The previous emperor was noted for his kindness, which was strange of that of a highblood, the highest blooded seadweller at that. He had but one quadrant filled, and it was reserved for his childhood friend turned moirail, and he refused to be in any other quadrants. This angered a numerous other highbloods, but the emperor didn't seem to mind, in fact, he truly didn't care what the highbloods thought as to what the lowbloods thought. He provided them with plenty of food and water for their families, asked their opinions and thoughts upon royal decisions, allowed them rights identical to the highblood's own, and even had a separate palace built on land so he could provide the lower castees with good jobs and even a few official titles. He saw the lowbloods no differently then the highbloods.
Krucon, on the other hand was basically the polar opposite of Alaric, had always been described as cold and cruel. Silently despising the lowbloods, he had natural impulses to cull the lower casted trolls, but had to refrain from doing so, if he wished to stay the emperor's moirail. However, he hadn't been caught, so he and Alaric stayed excellent moirails. And after about twenty to thirty sweeps after the emperor's death, everything had changed.

A rhythmic clink, clink, clink sounded in the silent room. The seadwelling emperor let out a soft growl and let go of his longsword, it fell to the floor with a loud clang. Krucon could hear a couple of guards gasp, and straighten. Letting a smile grace his lips, it felt good those damn landdwelling guards knew their place. As if on queue, a female scribe walked in and looked up at Krucon. His dark grin had dropped. "Excuse me, y-your highness, if I may request of your a-attention..." The seadweller glared down at her, and she seemed to shrink. "What do you want, lowblood?" A stentorian growl emitted from the highblood. The lowblood squeaked slightly, and sweat had visibly begun to condense upon her temple. "S-Someone is here to see you, sir." Shifting his gaze left, he ran his tongue across his set of sharp teeth. Looking back, he narrowed his eyes, and looked the lowblood directly in her own. Krucon then noticed the sage colour of her oculars that seemed to set off her pale skin. Baring his teeth is disgust, he quickly turned his head away, and waved his hand dismissively.
"Bring him in." "W-Well actually, the 'he' is a 'she'." This seemed to aggravate the seadweller, and he pinched the bridge of his nose, and then brought both hands up, and rubbed his eyes. Sighing deeply, Krucon's jaw clenched, and he rolled his neck, popping it loudly. Rising from his throne, his grey, gold rimmed coat swished quietly at his ankles. And with slow, heavy steps, he began threateningly towards her. Krucon then noticed he was a good foot taller than the sageblood. Leaning down, he grabbed her by her throat, and lifted her up, choking her. Her breaths were quick and she was obviously struggling for air. "Then bring her in, and more specific next time, or so help me you disgusting lowblood, you won't be getting out unharmed." Tossing her aside as if she was a rag-doll, he began back to his throne. Out of the corner of his eyes, he could see her clumsily get to her feet, and get out as fast as could.
A few minutes later, a rather large group of midblood guards returned and were huddled tightly around a woman he could not see. He could only tell because of the unbelievably soft click of her heels against the spacious and echoing throne room. "Step aside, I wish to see this woman!" Krucon barked in a rather strident tone. The small circle quickly dispersed to reveal his visitor. She was a decent height, but was broad shouldered and slender. At the same time she had a well muscled build for a female. With a narrow face, and sharply visible cheekbones, her eyes seemed darker, as they were already slightly sunken, but were large and almond shaped, her pupils were but thin slits. With a rather wicked smile marking her features, it was impossible not to notice her fangs. Unusually thin, they appeared almost fragile, but it was obvious they weren't as delicate as they appeared. With accents of iolite blue marking her features, he assumed she was blueblood nobility. In a sense, she was beautiful. But stronger than that was a snake-like appearance, almost dark, viscous, animal.
Unable to find a good word to define her, he went to confront her, but she immediately spoke herself. "Interesssted in what you sssee, your highnesss?" When she spoke, she had an alto, honeyed, smoky kind of voice. But behind it was a fierce venom, almost an aggressive tone of voice had been used. He also noted she annunciated her s's. Krucon ignored her question, but glared down at her."Who are you, and why are you here, blueblood?" The seadweller used his best authoritative tone, although he noted she seemed unafraid of him, and didn't even wince at his tone. The blueblooded female politely bowed, but rose before Krucon could allow it. "I am here on official busssinesss. And I wish to ssspeak with you-" The willowy female crossed her arms, shooting an iolite glare at a few guards. "privately." The guards also ignored her, although one or two shifted uncomfortably. Narrowing his eyes, Krucon locked his eyes on her, but waved his hand. "Fine. Guards, leave." A raucous command echoed in the large room, and the guards seemed to be tripping over one another as they attempted to leave quickly, which apparently wasn't quick enough. The large doors to the throne room shut quickly, the thud bouncing rather loudly off the walls.
Krucon once again seemed rather frustrated. "You've already taken up quite a large sum of my time. Now answer me before I cull you. Who are you, and what do you want?" The seadweller crossed his arms, and glared down at her. The blueblood put on a faked frown, and placed her hand upon her chest in a purposely over-dramatic way. "It ssso sssad that you don't recognize me-" This angered Krucon, and he gritted his teeth. "Answer me, you stupid landdweller!" The blueblood let out an amused chuckle. "Hm. Not one for messsing around, are you?" Sighing, she slowly stepped forward. "My name is Glycona, Glycona Hisess." In a split second, she was leaning upon his throne. "But you can call me what you wisssh." Glycona had whispered the last part in Krucon's ear. He had grabbed at her, but ended up grabbing midair. She was leaning on a wall, almost fully concealed in the shadows. It then became fully apparent Glycona was not your average highblood. Being a female blueblood alone was unique enough, but physic apportation skills were uncommon. "Who...who..are you?" "Sssomeone ssspecial. You ssseem intrigued, your highnesss." Glycona chuckled again, her laugh was soft, but had a wicked twinge. "Did you know that Alaric didn't tell you everything? Moirails or not, he kept plenty of sssecrets. And guesss what-" Glycona paused, and ran her thin, forked tongue in an enticing way across her fangs. "I wasss one of them."
Krucon paused, eyes narrowed. "Explain yourself, Glycona." "Did Alaric ever tell you about The Matchmakersss?" Saying nothing in response, he gave a slight shake of his head. "Well then. I sssupossse you ssshould lisssten to me."

-Thirty Sweeps Before-
A silvery female voice quietly rang out in the darkness,"Aldenn! Come on! The ceremony will be soon!" The male jadeblood turned around. "Ilrith, I'm coming! Hush! You might wake the grubs!" Voice modulated, and barely above a whisper, Aldenn quietly exited the room, full of sleeping grubs. Quickly finding his friend's form in the darkness, he flashed her a fanged smile. She was also a jade blood, and had welcomed him more than the others. He was a mutant, he was different. Something had stopped his lusus from culling him, he had never found out why at that. He, his friend, and a handful of others were off on a rare trip to the surface. They would travel by day, considering it would be much safer, and the sun didn't bother those in his blood caste. The emperor would also be traveling to the closest settlement of hives, and would meet the jadebloods there.
-Timeskip-
As the jadeblooded group came into the city, the sun was setting and the settlement was waking up. A few confused looks were shot at the group, especially a few at Aldenn. Slightly shrinking, he sped up his pace, and the group followed without hesitation, noticing the increasing attention upon them. They quickly found their destination, and entered the seemingly normal hive, upon entering it seemed normal, but the Emperor was sitting in a chair, a kind smile graced his features as he noticed them. Immediately getting onto their knees, they bowed to their ruler. This made him grin. "Do rise, friends. There is no need to bow, I am only here to talk." A mellow, fruity laugh came softly from the king. Upon hearing his voice, the jadebloods seemed to greatly relax, this was also if you noted he was a rather charismatic and chivalrous leader.
"I have gathered you all here today on important business." Alden started, his relaxed state had switched to one of seriousness. "I need all of your attention. This is urgent." His tone was suggesting that it was dire. "If any grubs of coral blood are hatched, I want them exterminated. Immediately." Aldenn could hear a numerous stifled gasps. "Yes. I know the deed is grim, but I will have no other heirs to the throne, this is an order. Anyone found caring for, or letting a coral-blooded grub live will be culled without question." Alaric turned his back on the group of jadebloods, who seemed to cower as a crowd. "Also-" I need to make another request of you and the mother grub:" The group seemed to listen, not intently at that. "Make sure that more better bred highbloods are hatched, or try to keep the lowbloods in decent numbers. You all have been given new, and higher ranking jobs, your titles have been changed, and you are a group, so you share a title. You are now The Matchmakers. Be sure you don't let me down." The emperor rushedly bid his farewells, and left.
