why are there so many abandoned homes and buildings where you live?

so that is a really tricky question. so I'm exploring urban and rural landscapes in europe. the most of this properties are not really in my neighborhood.
We have many abandoned buildings in Europe. The most of them are the houses in the countryside because many people - especially the youth - moves to the cities, mostly because ofΒ economicΒ reasons.
and no one wants to live in an old, cold house off the cities.

huh wow. I'm staying in the states right now and there aren't very many abandoned buildings around here. When you do go in the few that are abandoned here, my friends got arrested for trespassing!Β

i know a lot of urbex photographers here, but they all do it at the risk of being caught! Still fun though. I want to go to Europe so I can explore these entire abandoned places like I see in your works!

But you also have here the same problem with the police, especially in belgium and france. after this terrorist shit the cops are alarmed and also neighbours.
In belgium three friends got arrested and another guy had really trouble with police in france.Β
