Description
As the image says, made in version 9.1, but exported into 7.2 to recolor and re render. reason why i did this is because when i sell them, i want to make them available to not just R9 users, but anyone that still hasnt upgraded to R9 yet, I do know a few facilities that are still using version 6 as well. So yeah, these renders are from Version 7.2, not version 9. anyway enjoy guys.Inspiration:
~GizMoto because he made it in maya, so i thought well if he could do it in maya, i can do it in c4d aswell right?, so yeah in the end, its possible.

would have came out the same. seriously, im not kidding you, the my rendering style hasnt changed much at all since my version 7 days, even though its been 2 years its really now changed, actually 3 but i didnt get a base rendering style until after a year of fooling around, even today i still use the same rendering scheme i did 2 years ago, its just that i've learned a few more small tricks to make it look better.

But why did you export it into an older version of C4D?
Just curious.

Okay, I see. It actually makes sense.
I almost forgot about the snowboard, I had to format my hard drive but I do have a back-up copy of the file.
I just havenΒ΄t found any inspiration to do anything in 3D. But I will finish the snowboard scene, IΒ΄ll start right away.
School is trying to kill me, hasnΒ΄t succeeded yet .
My last year in high school basically just started and I should start to worry about the "final exams" coming up next autumn and spring.

think of it as business terms, if YOU(not me) are able to give your 3D mesh's to max 7 or higher users tahts good and all, but what about the guys that still havent upgraded from max 5 yet? if you make it so that they can use it as well with almost the same type of materials, that would make you a more suitable person to do business with. thus that is why i have it so that sure anyone that has version 9 can use the ver9 specific file, but version 7 users would hav to deal with an exported mesh in .3ds, .obj. .wrl format which in tern only uses simple blinn colors and not any special params like reflection, gradient falloffs or anything. So I manually go back and make a version 7 version as well so that anyone using version 8 as well can use the file too in its c4d specific coloring and matchup the the current version of the file.....im sorry if im not making much sense, but im sure you get the whole idea right? so um, hows that snowboard coming? or is school killing ya? later mate, keep your head up!

Like, alright, man...groovy. I saw them. The red is kinda neat but yeah I personally just like Silver(chrome) rims, white, and black rims on certain cars. But BBS rims look so sweet in black.

that remindes me of something do i get any credit for inspireing you to make that
.............only jokeing bud
Nice job you have done there like the fact you also did the brakes even for a wheel only render.
only thing i would sugest is a diffrent colour powder coat to show off the spoke/center a little more,
black to me never comes across very well in renders of single objects like the wheel
