Description
hmm I'm working on my reading CG, and this one's gonna be my next project. I'm not that happy with the 'Rading' CG though, I just liked the way I did the skin, everything else around it makes me think she doesnt fit in this surrounding. >.>oh well
btw, I just have a normal desktop, that teal colored normal Windows desktop, so dont ask anything more, I just listen to music when I CG.

Is it hard to color pictures on PS? It's always seemed like it'd be really hard to me... harder than doing it with real pencils or such. Always been curious bout that.

for my opinion, not really. I've been tinkering Adobe Photoshope since I was first year high school. Though I'm still in the intermediate level, not a pro. I didnt have any classes to learn these skills except for the tutorials I see online.
try orienting yourself with these tools(for basic CGing)
Layers Window( can be hidden/seen by going Windows>Layers)
Brush Tool(the button on tool palette)
Brushes palette (in my screenie it the one between the menu and the workspace(the 2nd bar below the menu)
color/swatches palette( can be hidden/seen by going Windows> color/swatches)
Polygonal Lasso Tool
I guess that's it for beginners. After that try playing around with the filters
then you get to learn about masking, adjustments and stuff. If ever you have problems about any tutorial or what tool the tutorial is asking you to use, press f1 to let you open a browser to help you search topics about that certain tool you are not accustomed to.
I hope I satisfied your question.
