I've seen this movie three times now & tear up every single time I tear up at the "We are Groot." scene & when Rocket is sitting there crying with the twig in his paws.

When I saw Rocket cry, I immediately wanted to jump through the movie screen and give him a virtual hug and kiss on the nose.

Sometimes the toughest guys have the deepest feelings.
When Rocket told Drax "Everybody's got dead people", he's basically telling Drax to get over the death of his loved ones.
Yet when Rocket has his own personal loss, he can't handle it.
Maybe Rocket just never fully understood it until that moment.
Maybe that's why Drax was petting him, as a way of saying "I know what it feels like, little fellow."
Sorry, I analyze movies way too much. Very lovely image that captures the feeling of the those moments.

Oh god, when Rocket was sitting there crying over the twig I about felt my heart break. You could really tell he loved Groot and realized what he'd just lost.
This is fantastic, I love the dark color palette and the light being centered on the little leaf. A fantastic piece.
