"A serious, largescale battle was a rare sight in Rosemill Village. It was known for its quiet serenity and even more trainquil homelife. So the news of such a battle spread fast, not like the residents had much of anything else to talk about anyways. Many people gathered at the small, dusty arena behind the local Pokemon Centre. Spencer and his grandparents rushed over to the scene, them eventually convincing him to ride ahead on his bike. He was able to catch the last matchup of the battle. In those moments he understood the fears of how dangerous and powerful pokemon could be, but he couldn’t shake the exhilarating feeling of the battle itself."
