I wanted to work on it, but had no idea who to turn the sketch into since no stallion I thought of really clicked with the pose. So I just decided on going the genderbending route instead.

Gosh, I was almost done with the lines when I realized he had no wings. Not as bad as with Celestia when I already had the entire coloring, but still a "How did I miss that?" moment. I believe I subconsciously wanted to keep the back curve untouched. Hiding lines that turned out nicely is always such a bother.

I wanted to make the background blue in the beginning to have more contrast. But as I was about to stop him from barely standing out from the background I thought "Wait, why would he want that?" and thus kept it this way. It looks warmer like this anyway and I believe I could need some warm colors in my gallery anyway.
