Roses by the bus stop after morning rain. It's been raining a lot in Irvine lately...like once a week, only to give way to a bright sunny afternoon where all traces of rain vanish into thin air...

Raindrops on roses remind me of "My Favorite Things" from "Sound of Music"...

bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens,
brown paper packages tied up with strings,
these are a few of my favorite things. "

Anyway, I haven't submitted a flower photo in a very long time, so what the hey. Finally downloaded Gimp after not having a program to edit my photos with. First time using Gimp...hope this is ok.
