Souji Nijima was an average boy whose life was changed when his mother died from being caught in the crossfire of a battle between a rider and a bugster on Zero Day. When doctors failed to save her, he vowed vengeance upon not only those of CR, but also the Bugsters themselves. He was trained by his Grandfather in the way ninjitsu and is a master of it. Souji is cold and is passionate about his mission to defeat the bugsters and doctors of CR. However he values the lives of the people above all else. He is willing to give his life for others because that is what his mother would do. Always alert and willing to fight this ninja is formidable opponent to either side of the conflict.

Catchphrase: "I will protect that single spark of life!"
