An acrylic sketch I did this month along a bunch of other trees, all too big to fit the canvas. I was mainly looking for emphasising the size of the things; for this one I looked to bonsais for shapes which is always dangerous because the scale to easily gets lost. I used a filbert held at a flat angle for the foliage. The birds have to conceal a tiny bit of paint that tore off the paper with the magnets holding it to my working wall.

The original has been sold.
