I found this old man in the park who was telling fortunes. Only the spirits fully know the eternal veins of cosmic destiny he taps to auger men's fates-- but twenty yuan seems to help the process.My friend asked one of the people there what his fortune was, and he replied that if it had been good, he wouldn't have come to see this guy. Apparently he's like a karma repairman? Ominous. But he looked really badass, and didn't hardly notice me taking his picture; or was just too cool to care.
