Description This #71 is Located in Black Hawk, Colorado.

Black Hawk was founded in 1859, during the Pikes Peak Gold Rush. The name BLack Hawk Either came from a Chief near the area, or from a mill. The Black Hawk ore mill came from the Black Hawk Mill Company, in Illinois. One of the stamp mills was purchased by some mine and moved to the (new) city, so the city was named after the stamp mill. The other theory is that the city was named after a famous chief named Black Hawk. The one that sounds reasonable, is the stamp mill theory. Back at the time when the city was named, It was full of prospectors and miners (the area is called the richest square mile in the world). The Native Americans hated the new miners, and believed that the miners were destroying their land. I doubt that a city full of miners would name their town after a chief, that was from a civilization that hated the white men.

Sounds very plausible considering what you describe...

While I like the close up view of #71, but I like this scenic view better.

Um. It is in front of casinos. Not very scenic to me.

Unfortunately Black Hawk and Central City are now gambling towns, nothing much left of the old town.

Awww. I didn't realize Colorado turned into a gambling state too now?! Well, I didn't realize that they were casinos. That's sad, but they are still pretty cool looking architecturally speaking. However since they are gambling that does color the perspective...

Yeah, I'd imagine there isn't

And now it is a pro pot state. Yes the idiots voted for smoking pot to legal, even though the federal laws make it illegal. The lawyers are going to be raking in the cash.

...that is simply for medical use, like for people that have cancer, correct?
My step father died from cancer for the same reason that cannabis would have been good for him, but he was ever a staunch anti-smoker (of cigarettes, so cannabis was not an option to him).

This new law makes it available to anyone who want cannabis, no doctors prescription required. That is another reason why I am against the new law. If you need to have it for medical reasons fine, but for anything else it should be prohibited. It is too easy in Colorado to get a card saying that a doctor say you need it. Any type of pain will get you that card. Dispensaries now outnumber the amount of schools in my state.

Well, I would be a smart "donkey" about it and say as long as it is grown here, I am not that against it, but more than likely it will get outsourced to another country.

This country is going downhill, fast! and both red and blue seem intent to get us there.
