I only had one key like this and one altered tag, so chances are I won't be making another like this.

I had a lot of fun making this clockwork necklace. I got to try new things and used several different techniques on the beads and bits of metal. For those of you like me who like to fidget with your jewelry, the bead on the large circle is movable and so is the wire on the smaller circle. I've put tiny circles on the bits of metal that look like 8's, wire wrapped a swirl around the shiny bronze bead, and made a spring at the top of the two beads put together with a metal square in the middle. I love this large gear covered key, and chose to put a metal tag that says ALTERED because steampunk has a lot to do with altering things to make them look interesting and industrial.
