Another sketch I did of Orlan, closer than the last, picture him as between the two, this one looks like he's misisng something, perhaps the cape or cloak from the last one. Image that this is just after a battle, he's shed most of his more obstructing armour; gauntlets and shoulder thingies. now hes taking a break.

its also a partial think through of the uniform for the storm child army, (without the scale armour or the greaves). to the side are a few diagrams showing the basic layout, held at the centre by silver clasps, with leather/suede pads at the top, long in cut and held by a belt, loose sleeves held in by similar leather bracers. It would all be in shades of dark blue or similar colours (Storm like) The bottom one shows the more formal array with a wide sash holding a ceremonial sword, and where medals and pins go. Rank is signified in pins on the collar, wheras division is signified by a pin on the breast. Officers would have this uniform in well cut and fine materials. Soldiers would have a more practical verson, with buttons instead of clasps, and more drable materials and cuts, with a more basic colouring. Colouring also varies depending on the branch of the army or navy. Soldiers armour would be standardised, how so im not sure, the helmet at the bottom is just an idea. Of course some branches of the army wouldnt wear uniform unless on duty, such as the eagle riders or the shadow legion.
