Eurgh, oooh so horrible, makes me sick.

But enough about the colouring, lets talk about the drawing.

one of the first in my monster range, before the bonewraith and probably the mildest in the freak-factor, this is the second drawing specifically done to test colouring.

The monster itself is a new twist on the zombie which I'm quite proud of, heres the deal:

The puppet is a biological weapon, its microscopic eggs are placed in the food or water source of the target, and after ingestion they hatch, breaching the stomach lining and embedding themselves in the abdominal area. Then they grow, slowly expanding their tentacles out through the body, causing pain and minor paralysis.

When they reach a certain size, they open their sharp-toothed maw for the first time and devour the unfortunate individual from the inside, their tentacles secrete an enzyme that disolves human tissue and slowly they scour away all the flesh left.

Then, with their tentacles wrapped around the skeleton, they ride the victim's bones around looking for more food.

Basically instead of a reanimated corpse, youve got a parasitic lifeform using the bones of a person as a mean of transport and protection, using its own tentacles as surrogae muscles.

it was an interesting concept when i thought of it and here it is for all to see.
