Well I said im my journal I'd add something, So I did this yesterday, took me a couple of hours, its a little annoying since I did some reasonable plotting of the anatomy, but then I'm terrible at doing realistic clothing so you kinda miss all the shape because of that.

This was a second try, I'm quite happey with th eoutsome except the head looks like its been pasted on.

Right, time for some background:

This is Shenn, more commonly known as 'the emperor' cliche but apporpriate. He is the main antagonist in my non existant novel (of which only the prologue exists and still needs work). He is the head of the empire which spans the entire continent of something (not thought of enough names yet) His likes are; reading, gardening and mass genocide....

He does whatever he must to keep his empire together even if it means genocide, because its a long term solution to rebellion. And why is he interested in long term solutions, well rumour has it that he is over 2000 years old, though no one really knows (not even me, I havent decided yet and its more complicated than that anyway). Even the oldest men in the empire cannot remember a time when he wasnt ruling.

Despite his atrocities he somes off as a very likeable man, helpful and compassionate. Not only that but perhaps due to his age he has a few unique qualities. Firstly he is a genius, picture a leonaro davinci type of genius, he has a workshop where he makes inventions, most of which have helped him rules over his empire with ease. He is also proctically impossible to kill. not immortal, no one has even got close enough to really prove that. His fightng skill surpasses anyone else in the world, and the hundreds of assassination attempts have all failed. Once unarmed and accosted by a dozen well armed foes he killed all but one and interrogated him, still barehanded.

Despite such combat prowess, I've shown him with his sword, which is one of his only valued worldly possensions (one of two, the other is a deformed skull.......which is also complicated). As you can see its a unique blade, inspired by the fierce deity sword in the legend of zelda: Majoras mask (that one was about 8 feet long and two feet wide thought). The detail is shown on the left since the sword is sheithed (not to scale). The two halves of the balde twist over eachother yet they still have an edge all along the side, while this is mostly just a leaf bladed sword its obviously a little unbalaced unless you're used to it, the prominant blade has engravings down its length. Supposedly it was orginally two single bladed swords (katanas) forged as one.
