Desperate chirping caught the attention of Mama Nana, who was just as busy as any other adult in the den.
What could this little critter want? Was it hungry? Then go to Susan-

Woah there! What's going on! Since when I can be pushed around by a dottiebop?!
What's the hurry, little guy?

Monday...! I need to go to Monday! She was nearby! She must know what's wrong-
What are these bandages?! What are these black spots on his sides?!
Why is he in this sorry state?! Why didn't he said anything?! Why didn't he tell me?!

"Monday!! It's an emergency!! Help him!"

"Nana..." the gothic doctor approached the Den Mother, who was sitting outside with the Goober and Dootiebop that kept Ratt company.

"How is he?" the Den Mom asked, jumping out of her seat. "Is he ok?! What's wrong with him?!"

"This kit was slowly killing himself..." replied Monday with her iconic cold and monotone voice.

"What?!"

"This kit was wearing bandages in a foolish attempt to stop the growth of an extra set of arms" she explained simply.

Nana stood there in disbelief. Stopping growth? An extra set of arms?? Like the other kits who were affected by the magic surge?

"B-But how?! Many kits got extra set of arms- But none of them experienced something like this!" she replied in desperation.

"And the fact that they held on for this long... it's spring already... Which means..."

"He was hiding this from us for months..." Nana finished.

"... We'll do everything we can, but..." Monday was unsure if they should finish their sentence.

"But?! But what?!" the Den Mother demanded.

"Since this kit was forcing the new arms to stay in, it pushed the phylakardia's healing to it's limit... He will need ether transfusion and... time to heal"

Nana could feel all the warmth of her body leave her in an instant.

"We'll keep him under observation after the surgery, but he will need all the rest he can get... So no visits for a while- Only authorized folk may enter for a short period of time" the doctor responded, hoping it would give Nana some sort of hope.

"O-Of course...! Please...! Save him Monday. Ratt is a good kit... I-I don't-" she choked for a moment there, before regaining her composure. It's not the time to point the culprit of this predicament... Something or someone motivated Ratt to do what he did, but that didn't matter right now. "I'll... I'll inform Susan and Eeko... Don't let anyone disturb Ratt until he is all better" her voice was firm, yet with a hint of sorrow. "We can't have this situation spread around the Den, specially with so many new kits around... they would panic"

Monday nodded. "Understood, Nana..."

"..."

"He will be ok..." the doctor reassured.

"... Let's hope he does..."

Ratt will not be available for cameos or interactions at the moment. He is at the hospital with a delicate condition.
Folk that personally know Ratt might react to his strange behavior and disappearance if desired.
Spamster and Omni are guarding Ratt's Door Room, they will not let anyone but the Den Mothers in.
