The Youth Center was hosting a dance and Rita Repulsa knew she had to ruin it. She instructed Finster to create a monster that used music and dancing as its weapons. DJ Balloon was the outcome, an elsticated, rubbery creature with sterio speakers mounted to its shoulders. During its fight with the Rangers, the monster bounced around like a pinball as their lazer shot ricoched off its rubbery hide. Seperating the Blue and Yellow Rangers from the rest, it deflated and engulfed the pair in funky music. Billy and Trini rapidly swelled and shrank to the beat, getting slightly larger with each pass. A musical echo erupted from within the pair as their heartbeats were transformed into loud speakers. As DJ Balloon scratched and remixed the beats on its chest-mounted turntables, the creature's music had taken complete control over the ballooned Rangers. Billy and Trini just laughed and danced to the beat without a care in the world. DJ Balloon turned its gaze towards the other Rangers. Would they be able to save their friends or suffer the same fate?
