Description
Boris the panda welcomed my best friend back from China. He is made from three 8" Madeira cakes and one 6" Madeira cake stacked on top of each other, carved then covered with marzipan and regal icing(white icing).He was my first ever 3D cake and I'm kinda chuffed with how he came out.
There will be a making of at some point in the near future.

Adorable! and I can't imagine how difficult that was to make (and how much cake that meant you had to eat!)
Next time, I'd try to make the arms a bit thinner or the head taller. And fill him with oreos or fortune cookies!

I couldn't make his arms thinner with out risking the structure of the cake coming to pieces. He already had to have a nose job from marzipan lol.

Oreos are a chocolate cookie with cream filling, so they're black and white. They're really common in America and so far I've seen them whenever I've traveled abroad.
