Description This was the 3D Design assignment from Hell. Our mission (whether we chose to accept it or not) was to create an insect sculpture out of foam core. The fun part was that we weren't allowed to use any adhesive at all. I made a praying mantis that unintentionally ended up having pose-able front appendages. It scored a 99%

Sorry for going so comment-crazy on your gallery, but you have some really nice stuff! The way you layered this is crazy (in a good way, mind you)! I think my favourite areas are the abdomen and around the area around where his front legs begin.

That's pretty amazing. It really seems to have a life - it looks to me as if it's just about to move. You should upload more pics of it from different angles.
