She, her siblings, and their father managed to excape from the lab. It wasn't until they find a place where other cats were hiding when they find out that she and her father became the human's test subjects. Her father dies of a dangerous illness while Nala gains great powers. She leaves her siblings and joins another group, later becoming Hilaria.
