As I watched Lily ran down the street, tears rolling down her pale white face away from the blazing fire where her house once stood. She turned down an ally… that was her first mistake.
Hi, I’m Logan. I watch over Lily but she thinks I’m dead. I’m her brother and yes I’m the older twin.I had a brother but he just died in the fire. I mean he was rather cold hearted towards me because no matter what I did I would always beat him in everything. I left the family a while ago. I don’t even remember anymore it might have been two years ago but it might have also been ten, I don’t keep track of it anymore, but that doesn’t matter. All I know is that my little sister just ran down a dark ally and now she has a creeper following her… great.
As I jump down from the roof I was just sitting on I hind within the shadows. Oh I forgot to mention, I’m wanted by many "important" people. Lets just say that I did some “things” that shouldn’t be mentioned…ever! Well time to go and save my little sister. I’ve been hiding long enough.
I pull up my hood so that shadow hides my face and I shove my hands into my pockets. I look down to make sure that my gun holder was still strapped to my thigh. I smirk and I walk out into the ally way. The creeper was getting very close to Lily so I started to get a bit nervous. How would she react if she saw what was following her, I mean besides me. I hurried up and still very proud that I didn’t make a sound because I’m a pretty built guy so you think I would make noise. It’s freaky because I guess I’m like a ninja when it comes to moving in the dark. Anyway as the creeper lifted its sleeve I ran up to it pulling my gun out and put it to the back of its head.
“Move any closer and I will end your worthless life!” I whispered to the creeper. It stopped floating towards Lily and it put its “arm” back down. I guess I should try and explain what these things are. They are these types of demons that go around and kill people by stealing their souls and they leave them lifeless all over town. I’m wanted because I stole one of the guns, which are able to kill these creepers. Lily must of herd me because she turned around and her eyes went wide. I threw back the creeper and ran towards Lily. By the time I grabbed her she was just beginning to scream. I covered her mouth and pulled her into the shadows.
“Be quite and stay here. If you move you might die! Do you understand?” I said quietly but firmly. Lily nodded and I walked back out from the shadows to see that two more creepers had shown up. Great! I pulled out my gun again and looked it over smirking. I looked up and my hood fell back. My shots pierced the silence of the night. As I turned around and shoved my gun back into its holder sand began to blow away. I looked over to where Lily was and her big green eyes were as wide as they could be. I walked up to her and kneeled down onto one knee. She lifted her small hand to my bleached blonde hair. It was cut short so it wouldn’t get in the way. I saw her mouth say Logan but she didn’t say the words out loud. Tears started to form in her eyes and that’s when I pulled her to my chest and hugged her tightly. My little sister knew who I was. Only problem that would arise would be that she shouldn’t have because now she would be wanted too. As I picked her up and put her onto my back with my cloak over her and pulled the hood over her head, I pulled the hood of my sweater over my head and began to walk within the shadows into a knew world where hopefully it would be a brighter future.
