Description
A hand towel inspired by Great Lakes First Nations and Metis floral beadwork designs.Designs which were taught to them by colonizing nuns attempting to "civilize" them through embroidery.
My heritage is bound up in an uncomfortable-and-beautiful series of cotton-thread knots -- and I haven't begun to untangle it yet.
