Description
The local Forest Ranger station. And borderline skipping up to the door was a very peppy young blonde lady.

“Knocky knocky! Is someone there? I need a little bit of assistance if you’d be so kind.”

In her hand was a piece of paper that needed signing. By a Forest Ranger, specifically.

“I guess nobody is here. That’s a shame.”

As she turned to leave, the door creaked open behind her.

“You said you needed assistance?”

She spun back around.

“Why, yes. I need...uh...”

What she needed was to not be surprised by who answered the door. A burly beauty with a mane of red hair and a pair of sunglasses.

“I...um...form...nice form...to sign!”

She cleared her throat.

“I’m taking a group of hikers up the pass in a few days. And um...”

She lost her words again as the pretty ranger crossed her arms. She had some guns on her.

“They said it’s a little dangerous, so I needed permission from the forest ranger...”

She took the paper from her, looking it over. While she looked the ranger over as discreetly as possible.

“That is pretty nasty terrain up there.”

She produced a pen from her shirt pocket, quickly signing it and handing it back.

“Thank you, Ranger...Tabes.”

She nodded.

“Oh, and another thing.”

She tipped her sunglasses down.

“You’re really not subtle about scoping people out.”

She winked at her and closed the door behind her.

“...Wow.”
