I think what Zim meant to say was.. "I'm so glad your alive! I couldn't image how boring life would be without you."...
But its a common mistake...
Anyways... in case you werent completely sure of the current position there in then I'll just confirm that Zim does indeed have his legs on each side of Dibby right there.
Dib hasn't noticed yet due to his current condition and is pretty far spaced out. Zimmy is pretty confused by Dibs unusual reaction to his assault/ insult.
You can see drag marks around Dibs head because i guess Zim relocated him a bit to get some space for emergency procedures. Like.. Face slapping...
Just so you know... the awkward position is only going to get worse in the next few pages. YEY! AWKWARD POSITIONS! I've been dieing to get to this scene!
Probably because its going to be the closest they get to anything sexual for this comic....

And I second the comment below- the Dib-abuse is perfectly believable. Especially since he seems to be rather delirious... which delights me more than it should.

I think you can push Dib through a little more abuse without breaking the magic, the human body can take quite a bit of abuse before it has to crash. But as long as he and Zim can get into those awkward situations...
