Description This photo was taken at The Chinese Gardens in Sydney on my birthday....This particular space felt almost magical to me so I of course, wanted a photographic record of it.....I adored the reflections in the water and how the sunlight hit the trees...
It may be nothing stupendous but I look at this photo and see both a record of a wonderful day and the beauty that exists in nature and the beauty that can come from "man"...

Man Sally cracks me up!

What a wonderful picture to remember a day by. When I can I try to capture as much as I can on my camera so I can remeber special days forever, if only by the picture. I absolutely love to take my camera with me holidays! You should see my holiday albums!

Sorry to bable but felt the need.... Oh well

Anyways this is a great photo. I love the lighting and the use of the natural aspects and the statues, a perfect balance I feel.

This is a wonderful shot. It is a representation of peace and tranquility. The line of the trees in the middle of the shot draw the viewers attention to the creek running between the banks. This is most likely due to the leading lines that the trees represent.
Also the foliage around the bottom edge of the picture frames the image. The picture's horizon line is not in the center, which is a good thing because centering the horizon line often makes a picture dull.

It is an all round wonderful shot. Congradulations ^-^

I keep going to comment on this and then thinking "no, i already have"
(*I'm wrong)
(*you know this already)
(there's no point to these brackets)

ok, so here's the comment:

Yeah... it's ok.

(note- this is not the real comment)

(of course that's not the comment, why would i make an effort to comment if that was the comment?!?!)

Ok... I absolutely love this. It is one of those pictures thats magical without being "Magical", you know? It's beautiful, serene and full of possibility. The tree in front gives it lovely depth and a sense of the water being guarded by the trees. It's a great shot, you should be very proud!!!

.....Here endeth the comment.....
