I saw one riding a motorcycle..
I love hockey but I hate the tradition of throwing an octopus on the ice during the Stanley Cup. I think it is the New York Rangers or Boston.Β Just stupid.

I remember this video (im sure I mentioned this before) where this octopus was caught on cam at night crawling out of its aquarium, into the adjacent aquarium, eating the fish inside, then crawling back out and into its own. there was this other video, where it would intentionally crawl out whenever it saw an employee, and run around, just to get her to chase him; it was a game. theyre very intelligent. For the life of me, I cant remember the name of the show.

Octopus are amazing creatures and fascinate me to no end.
I hate it when people say they eat them...they are too damn intelligent to be eaten as a delicacy.
I've seen one of the videos you are talking about but not the second one.
Did you see the one that figured out how to open a jar with a corked lid to get to the food inside?

I don't think ive seen that one, but I did see one where it was a square box with a tiny hole, and the octopus figured out how to maneuver its body to fit through the hole and get inside the safety of the box in an underwater film.
It was interesting to see him learn, problem solve,Β and thenΒ adapt right before your very eyes.

Yeah, the problem solving stuff is mind-blowing.
Plus I love how they can mimic their surroundings.
