Aww! So well drawn by the way, the expressions are priceless, and the stances are so natural!

I have to ask, Tony. Does it feel weird being embraced by something as cold as your mechanical replacement for a heart? Or does it feel comforting?

Slightly terrifying, slightly arousing, maybe.

I would think, being devoid of empathy, it would be like embracing Jarvis. I cried so hard, inside at least, when Jarvis was shut down by Ultron in Age of Ultron, and burst with happiness when he went back online. To think, the character I feel the most for doesn't even have a physical form… that sounds a lot like me.

Wow, so many feels. He did, in spirit, become a physical being, but no matter how worthy the Vision was born, he will never be Jarvis. Tony knows that and will make peace with it, eventually.

Vision, eh? Is that his name? Suits his identity being born of the Mind Stone, a cosmic telepathic gem with an independent consciousness, and also of Jarvis, our version of vision, being able to be everywhere at the same time.
Or were you referring to Tony having an artificial heart to physically mirror him being devoid of empathy, or at least he likes to think he is?

I'd like to disagree on the notion of "being devoid of empathy". Tony Stark, throughout the course of IM1 (and ofc IM2,3, The Avengers, & AOU) established himself as someone who can change despite years of indifference towards himself. I think the metal in his heart was more of a foil to his character rather than a mirror. As for The Vision, I think he reflects on Tony just as well as the reactor did. They both allow us to see what Tony is capable of, his ability to understand and share emotions. As seen in AOU, The Vision was able to wield mjolnir. The Jarvis that Tony created developed along with him through all those years and those characterizations were not lost upon the creation of The Vision.
