Okay, so I admit that I was a one time huge fan of Todd McFarlane - and yes I own alot of SPAWN comics.....to include the first 12 issues....I even own an original piece from him, dedicated to me....which is one of my prize possessions. Anyway - I had heard that Khari had done a limited Animated SPAWN series - and happened to go check it out.....man - I gotta say Khari's got some mean skills. Can't say I'm overly thrilled with the story ark, but I love Kharis take on ole Al Simmons.....and this is MY take on HIS interpretation....SPAWN is (c) Todd McFarlane - this is fan art.

I think it's cool how you colored the spikes beige-ish instead of silver, they look like they are made of bone, instead of metal obviously. I think it makes sense because Spawn's suit is supposed to be a separate living organism, but he can still control it. I've always wondered when he does the shape-shit thing to make weapons, etc. where the heck does all that metal come from?

There was a collected edition of the Animated Spawn, in which Khari Rudolph did the artwork for - this was a fan piece based on his version. It should be available through most comic shops....and thanks! Glad you like!

I used to be a big Spawn fan too, but now I read the comics and go, WTF!? It's a shame really.
