I did this Matte Painting for the background of Annie Leibovitz Photo "Peter Pan", that was part of a campain for Disney Parks. Enjoy!Related content

St Pauls! I climbed that building and first trip I only made it to the big outside ring. When I left England [early 80s], I was determined to make it to the top. Afraid of heights...I crawled to the top, but I made it!! Really didn't help that inside they were doing repairs, so the iron steps that spiraled up, the ones you can see through, plus scaffolding all over...yeah...I was terrified but I made it!

PS. I have seen recent images of that area and it's sad to see St Pauls is hidden by the modern structures all around it. Love how your image reflects back when St Pauls was one [a of few] tallest buildings in London.

This very much reminds me of a scene I love in "Mary Poppins", where they have an adventure on the rooftops of London, and observe a scene very much like this. I love the look of this! Truly a beautiful piece of art!

*fave'd* ... This beautifully evokes, in grays and blues, not just "Peter Pan," but also that moment in "Mary Poppins" where everyone is gazing out over a very similar Edwardian London.
... Which last always gave me goosebumps, getting me to think about the productive and steadily advancing world that was so savagely torn apart and remade by the martial madness of the State in the 20th Century.
You don't grasp this when you're five years of age, o'course, as I was when seeing that movie originally in the theaters. That perspective took time, schooling, cynicism, alcohol, and β nonetheless β hope. *sigh*
