Description
The idea for this animation came from the end frame and primarily is a test of my current skill which took around 1 week to complete. For the style of drawing, I was going for Violet Evergarden with some other minor influences from other anime. For the animation it was my first time following a simple animatic workflow, mainly focusing on getting used to the software and trying to use the 2D camera. I definitely started off quite slow with the inbetweens but became faster as I got better with the tools. Working on animation really makes you appreciate film/animation, it's almost like a different language you don't know how to translate but you can subconsciously understand it, the animator/directors job is to translate a story using a variety of techniques. Overall, this was a fun project hoping to do more art/animation soon. If you have any suggestions I may consider them.
