Description Well, I started to colour in Saphron on Photoshop. But I decided to do something different this time, I decide I was going to colour it without lines, and it is really difficult and time consuming trying to use shadows and light to get the shape instead of having lines. So far it is really paying off, and it looks awesome, but I'm not looking forward to getting to the wings (I've only finished the head and neck)

Normally I wouldn't submit a piece of work that I am in in the middle of, but because it is taking so long and I doubt that any-one is even going to look at this I decided to put it up.

If you do look at it and think it is good or bad, or have tips on how to improve it or where I should go from here, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT!! sorry I'm desperate.

dats awsome, up toward the head it almost looks 3D the arms are a bit fattish and the elbos (sp? ) need to come back towards the belly some more, and i know this would be extending the picture line or cutting of the pic, but like just for next time or something like the last 4 or 5 or so wing feathers need to grow extra long like mayne double or so... i hope that helps and i really don't mean to crit i'm just trying to help and it says crits are welcome so i put my 2 cents in <- has had ppl have the adv crit on and yell at me for pointing out stuff ._.; so please don be mad

Thanks for that And now you mention it, the arms do look a bit fat, o well. And I know about the feathers, on the actual pencil drawing I didn't have enough room to even draw the tips, so I had to do it by mouse which was difficult. Anyways, thanks. And I wouldn't get mad if it was me that asked for the crit in the first place.

I like the flowing shape and especially the shading on the head! The wings are very nice as well.

In the way of advanced critique, the wings are a little small to be supporting the dragon. Otherwise, nice job ^_^

Thanks oakendragon And there was a bit of a size limitation of the paper, I actually had to draw the tips of the wings on photoshops. Anyway, thanks for the comment and fav

I know you're not done yet, but I think the wings need some white on them too. Just remember; use as many details as you can. I suggest looking at some coloring tutorials to find out how to make great details.

Yeah, I have been using a few tutorials, and I'm currently working on the wings, although I haven't had a lot of time for it recently, I'll update it though, so you can see how I'm doing.

Thank you I should really have mentioned in the title that it's still a work in progress, and I will be adding shadow to the wings when I get there. But I've been pretty busy latly and school is starting soon, so I dunno when I'll get time to finish it.

Thank you . Yeah, I originally intended it to be Saphira but it looked more male and I had added some features to it myself, so I just made a new character.
