Guppy quickly dove in after the egg into the lake. The section she chose was relatively shallow and calm, but there were some rocks so it might be best to be right behind it just in case.

On her way down to the bottom though, she did not expect to pass by another gro. It wouldn't be the first time she had seen gros that did not surface for air in the lake. Finns? Was that the word for them? She was quite curious about them, if somewhat envious of their special ability to stay under for so long.

Perhaps she would search for this individual again on her way back up. There she could have a proper conversation.

Lungs are such a burden sometimes.
