Description

A slightly belated task 5 for round 10 of OC-Training.

The task is 'In Private' and requires you show your character in one (or more) of the following ways.

*Sleeping Position

*Favourite Subject At School

*Favourite Food or Drink

*Role within a Group

*Sense of Humour

*Secret Quirk or Habbit

I chose to combine several of these into a single drawing

* Sleeping Position

Diana was the Roman goddess of the hunt before she was transformed first into Cerberus, the 3-headed dog that guards the enterance to Hades, and finally into a mortal teenage child. Diana still feels a great affinity with the outdoors and prefers to sleep there rather than the too-comfortable, stuffy, confining nature of a bed and a house.

Unfortunately, as she is staying at Miku's home,(Alycia's council house home is too small, crowded and as a single parent family her mother can't afford to feed another mouth), Miku is the one responsible for finding her before her parents realise what Diana is up to. After having to disturb Alycia (nicknamed 'Lys) many times to find Diana (Alycia can also transform into a hunter goddes magical gilr style; Artemis in this case) Miku found her own solution. Being much smarter than her older class mates it was no problem for Miku to secretly install a tracking device in Diana's favourite pillow, paired to her phone.

I showed the other parts of the task as dream fragments as she sleeps peacefully in the treetops.

* Secret Quirk

Diana enjoys scaring cats. It's an odd habbit and one she struggles to explain. But it does bring her a measure of satisfaction.

I'm sure it has nothing at all to do with the fact that she spent 1500 years transformed into a giant, 3-headed, mythological dog...

* Favourite Subject at School

Suprisingly, it's not history. As far as Diana is concerned, the modern era has got ancient Greek and Roman history all wrong. After all, where are the gods and goddesses, the cyclops and other monsters. Diana regards Homer as a much more accurate historian than Plato or any modern scholar.

Her favourite subject is actually P.S.R.E (Personal Social Religious Education, though I'm sure it has a different name now since I left school over 30 years ago) or as the American would call it, the Humanities. Diana is a religious icon herself, or she was. Also with millenia of wisdom and experience and a highly opinionated persona she enjoys both the religious and secular debates the subject brings.

* Favourite Food or Drink

Diana has discovered both Ice-Cream and Chocolate. And like any other 14 year old girl craves the sugar rush and sweet taste. However, since the Ancient Greeks and Romans had nothing even similar she tends to massively overindulge. Can you imagine what it would be like to taste chocolate or ice-cream for the first time under a surge of teenage hormones, having lived over 2000 years and never experienced anything remotely similar.

Even Ambrosia; the Nectar of the gods, can't compare.
