Recently I stumbled upon the magnificent gallery of Arieegreen who creates such meaningful emotional art with mixed media. Her work inspired me to emotionally vent through art which has been very therapeutic and oddly calming.

This piece is a play on words and a double entendre. The phrase "in stitches" is often associated with heavy laughter and joy, probably from someone you're close with, but stitches in a medical sense are used to close open wounds. Is the person you love the reason you have stitches, or are they themselves the stitches helping to heal your heart?
