Recently I stumbled upon the magnificent gallery of Arieegreen who creates such meaningful emotional art with mixed media. Her work inspired me to emotionally vent through art which has been very therapeutic and oddly calming.

In hindsight I feel like it should actually be 'knives cut deep but words cut deeper,' either way you get the idea.
I had an abusive boyfriend who's knives and words have both left deep scars. It's been five years and while the scars from the cuts have faded I still feel like things he said to and about me dictate how I live now.
