Description
~~So I've had this in my head for ages...I think I've tried painting/drawing this before and it didn't turn out. But today I decided to start from scratch! ^^ See, in the storybooks, Red Riding Hood and her grandmother actually get eaten by the Wolf, and then later saved when the Woodcutter cuts it open with his axe. I've always wondered how it could be possible, since it would have to be one massive wolf to swallow them whole, and I always tried to picture it in my head. So this was what came out. It's not supposed to actually be cut open here, it's just supposed to kind of be an inside view of her nestled in there. And I left out the grandmother to suit my purposes lol... Anyways, just another piece to try out different styles. I'm still trying to figure out my style, and this is actually more like what I used to do in traditional media, with the cross hatching and whatnot. So yeah...Going to bed now.Related content

Haha, I just looked and your last TWO drawings were in that style, so maybe you mind is still in that zone.

~~Really? I'm pretty sure I haven't crosshatched in my linearts for a while...or at least I didn't think I did. Hmmm. *runs off to check*

I meant the style I was talking about in my other comment, with the cel shading look. :3

Wow, that's pretty Grimm.
(lol I'm terrible...)
I'm not in love with this one, to be completely honest. The colors are a bit muddy/dark. I DO like the hatching, though. I could see it working well for your style.
Have you done much with vectors, or a flatter coloring style (like in anime)? It might work better with the bold outlines you like to use.
