While Aveline is not an ancestor of Desmond, it is nice to see her in the picture along with my four favorite Assassin's!
Ubisoft did Desmond NO justice...he deserves way more than four or five missions...

Same...I mean she was a GENIUS! For thousands of years The Templars had Assassins (Vari, Baptiste and most recently Shay Patrick Cormac (I think the guy was a great protagonist)) enter their Order and betray the Assassin's...but this time: The Assassin's destroyed the Templar presence in New Orleans because she gave the Templars a taste of their own methods! GO AVELINE!
Agreed...Desmond remains my favorite Assassin, and in my head canon the Modern Protagonist of Black Flag is a clone of Desmond...sorry but I am that desperate

As all the assassins have a bird related to them, and birds of prey aren't that common, can we have Desmond's bird be a pidgeon? Just a really mean pidgeon. I think it's rather fitting for modern day xD

I have not played through ACIII Liberation all the way, yet. Is Aveline related to Desmond? Because there is no known biological connection between her and Desmond, although she has Eagle Vision and the scar on the lip.

On the AC wiki, it is said no one knows exactly who is getting Aveline's memories, and whether or not if it is Desmond. But I think it most likely is not?
