Look familiar? It should. [link]A crossover between MLP, Aliens, and an MLP fanfic, with Twilight as Ellen Ripley and Nyx from the Past Sins fanfic as Newt. I believe that anyone who has both seen the movie and read the fanfic should be able to see the connection.
As a side note, the fanfic is well worth reading, although it can get a bit wordy towards the end. [link]

Oh god I both love and hate this picture at the same time. I love it because it's Ponies+Alien and I love both, but same time the Alien nerd inside me screams because of all the small mistakes in the picture.

You know I really love this picture, cos I read the story and watched the movie. This was one of my favorite childhood sci-fi horror films, and now Past sins is my favorite story. The atmosphere doesn't match up though, ponies in space or modern era just isn't my cup of tea xP But I still love this pic, I just have to forget the sequel of that movie.
