nice.
crisp.
I really like it... except I would've dropped the border.. (to me) it closes the picture off, without of it, it would seem like forever... does that male sense?

How come your clouds look so alive and smooth?
Are the Danish clouds that much prettyer then the Norwegians?
And couls I have the tech stuff on this pic?

You have develloped a great and unique style my friend.
Pitchblack shadows, yet very detailed in the shadows. I thought my favourite painter (Carel Willink (ever seen anything of him? Think you should; you'll prolly like it as well)) made great use of shadows and atmosphere, but you almost surpass him.. I envy you.

I kept coming back to this, and being careful not to erase it from my messages.
It makes me feel calm, looking at the clouds.

Brilliant! As usual your work is stunning. It amazes me that there are places like this on earth and every summer i'm reminded that it is true when i go back to the land of ice, Finland.
Was this pic taken in the same place as some of your older work? It was called desertpaths. The same as that one, this one really inspires me and i think this one is definetely proving what i think of the world at the moment. That the winter of our being is at hand.

Great work Lars. It comes off as intense, and not just because of the physical features of it but the emotional features I feel most of the viewers will experience. The intense shadows on both the land and in the sky jump out at you, they dominate the photograph and bring out a lot of detail, from the untouched sand to the thickness of the bushes to the types of clouds in the sky. They also give off the feeling that this is a dead end, that the world is not round and heres the drop-off. Its really a great shot, because when you're represented with lets say a picture of the ocean, you have a sense that its an ongoing mass of water, that theres more beyond the horizon. But with this I actually feel that if I go any further I were to drop off the face of the earth. Well done.
